Το 1922 η Σμύρνη, όπως την ήξεραν οι Ιωνίτες, σταμάτησε να υπάρχει. Από το δεύτερο μισό του 19ου αιώνα, η ζωή που ήξεραν άλλαξε βίαια και ριζικά. Η επέτειος των 100 χρόνων από την Καταστροφή της Σμύρνης μας δίνει τη δυνατότητα να ανακαλέσουμε αυτά τα τραγικά γεγονότα, αλλά συνάμα μας προτρέπει να εξερευνήσουμε και τον τρόπο ζωής αυτής της πολυπολιτισμικής πόλης και συγκεκριμένα της μουσικής ζωής της.

A duet version of a piece dedicated to my long time friend Guerra (watch 'till the end) who left us back in 2017. A great dog, a friend and companion. I miss her so much. I had the opportunity to record this duet version with my dear friend Dimitris Keramidakis on the piano. Nice, simple and delightful. Stay tuned for the new CD coming up at www.alekosvretos.gr
